Use separ8 responsibly

By accessing or using https://separ8.app, creating an account, uploading or linking audio, purchasing a plan, or sharing outputs, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Only upload, link to, separate, download, or share audio when you own it or have permission to use it. You remain responsible for copyright, neighboring rights, licensing, privacy, publicity, and contractual obligations.

separ8 does not grant new rights to a song or to generated stems. Separation output must be used under the same laws, licenses, and permissions that govern the source.

You represent and warrant that:

Do not use separ8 to infringe rights, distribute unlawful material, bypass access controls, probe service security, overload infrastructure, automate abusive requests, or interfere with other users.

We may investigate suspected abuse, remove or disable content, throttle or block requests, suspend accounts, or terminate access to protect users, rights holders, partners, and service reliability.

If you supply a third-party URL or other external source, you are solely responsible for ensuring that retrieval and processing are permitted. separ8 does not control third-party sites and is not responsible for their terms, availability, or content.

Tracks can be up to 15 minutes. Free usage is subject to displayed monthly and shared-device or network allowances. Paid Plus and Pro plans use the prices, billing periods, and allowances shown before checkout. Only Plus monthly offers a trial when enabled at checkout; Pro bills immediately unless stated otherwise at purchase.

Subscriptions renew according to the plan you select until canceled through the in-product subscription controls or the payment provider portal. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated at checkout.

Features, model availability, limits, and storage behavior may change as the service develops. Accounts may be restricted when needed to prevent abuse or protect service reliability.

separ8 provides AI-estimated separated stems and optional exports created from those stems. Outputs are not original studio multitracks or unmodified master recordings.

The service does not offer users a download of the original source file at any stage. Temporary source audio may exist only briefly for processing and is not a product deliverable.

An exported WAV mix is rendered in the browser from separated stems according to your mixer settings. It is a recombined AI output, not a bit-perfect copy of the source recording.

separ8 does not endorse copyright infringement. Use the service only with material you own or are authorized to process.

Stem separation estimates sources from a finished mix. Results may contain bleed, missing sounds, artifacts, mislabeled stems, timing differences, or other errors. Preview outputs before relying on them.

The service is provided on an as-available basis. Processing can fail or wait for available compute, and temporary files can expire. Keep local copies of outputs you need.

Anyone with an active share URL may access its public contents. Do not share material that exposes private information or that you are not permitted to distribute.

You grant separ8 the limited rights needed to host, display, and deliver shared mix content solely to operate the sharing feature you enable.

Report alleged copyright infringement using the process on our Copyright Policy. We may act on complete notices, including removal, URL disablement, or account action.

You may also email separ8.app@gmail.com for privacy, trademark, or other rights concerns with enough detail to identify the material and your claim.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless separ8, its operator, and its service providers from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your content, your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, separ8 and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, separ8's total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid separ8 for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) fifty U.S. dollars.

You may stop using separ8 at any time. We may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or cancel subscriptions for breach of these terms, risk to the service, non-payment, legal requirement, or repeat infringement.

We may update these terms by posting a revised version with a new last-updated date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms where permitted by law.
